Updated: Feb 22, 2019

For a year and some change, Tekashi 6ix9ine (Daniel Hernandez) has acquired the primary focus of the hip-hop industry. Known for his wild vibes, his body covered with tattoos of “69,” and his vibrant hair and grilles, Tekashi 6ix9ine has peeked everyone’s interest.

His fame continued to skyrocket after nearly every song he released had hit top billboard charts, but with fame, comes shame.

It isn’t uncommon for artists to be publicly blasted for their mistakes, whether those mistakes are ongoing or buried in the past. Some mistakes, though, happen to be illegal and quite controversial to the public eye. Hernandez had developed a relationship with the justice system back in 2018 when he was re-sentenced for an incident regarding child pornography. In 2015, he had released a video to social media containing graphic contents of a 13-year old performing sexual acts. What should have been 20-years in prison for that crime, resulted in 4-years probation and 1,000 hours of community service.

Anyone would have learned their lesson dealing with serious felonies such as child pornography, yet due to his carelessness, he now pleads guilty to the following charges: racketeering, aiding in attempted murder, conspiracy, firearms, narcotics trafficking, and several other offenses.

These charges, amongst his previous charges, had compelled New York Federal prosecutors to offer Hernandez a plea deal in which he would face 47 years in prison. Ironically, he would be 69-years old once released. However, according to TMZ, his cooperation with the authorities allowed for the U.S. Attorney of the Southern District of New York to negate any charges he admitted to during his interrogation. The U.S. Attorney also agreed “not to prosecute [69] for the crimes set forth in Counts One through Nine.”

With enough cooperation, Hernandez could potentially cut his due prison time down to the teens and even lower. This is a BIG break for him, however, despite his early freedom, he suffers from an even bigger threat than the destructive atmosphere behind metal bars. The Nine Trey gang (a set of the United Blood Nation). Hernandez’s cooperation with the feds became the thin threshold of the Nine Trey Gang’s loyalty to him. He and his family are currently under severe witness protection as their lives are settled deeper and deeper in danger. The Nine Trey Gang had already threatened Hernandez, therefore, the moments leading his trial which awaits in mid September of 2019 are bound to include a mass of tension and fear for the Hernandez family. As far as we know, Hernandez is experiencing a heated crisis, whether he is cleared of all charges and/or he is sent to prison. As for his punishments, the latest updates will be posted on www.roastnreview.com in the news section.
